Leoda’s is open…

According to member, Barbara Wong (who ate there on Tuesday), LEODA’S in Olowalu is now open for business!

She believes she arrived during a soft opening which explains why there has been no announcement. She also said all the pies were sold out by 4 PM.

Barbara and Richard enjoyed a shared $15 ahi sandwich and delighted in the option that there are individual, three-inch pies on the menu –if you can get one — along with all sorts of fantastic sandwich and meal choices.

She believes they will be popular and thinks they stay open until 8 PM….

I’ve been there a couple of times now and you’ve just got to try Leoda’s Avocado and Cucumber Sandwich with provolone on whole grain! Big enough to share and almost too big to get your top and bottom teeth around. Their french fries are spectacular and Gary said his patty melt was divine.

Previously I had a bite of their Yuzu-Lemon Tart… I still recall it with great vividness… It had just the right tingle in all the right places. The filling was thick enough to be oh so creamy yet squishy making the shortbread crust all that much more sweet. Just yummmmy.

On my next visit, I plan to indulge in the fried salad with brussels sprouts.
