I mentioned at our last discussion that I was going to meet with Barbara E. Sharp, author of a series of Lahaina Mysteries based on local, historical records. And indeed I did just that last Thursday morning where we had a lively interview, something we both enjoyed.
However, Ms. Sharp later decided that she really didn’t want anything written about her, so in order to respect her privacy, I will not be publishing the article I’ve written. Also, since she had not seen or read my article prior to her request, I later sent the unedited version to her in the hope that she would change her mind and left her with the sincere wish for continued success with her novels, her 8th is in the works.
I’m now looking for other authors on the West Side to interview, so if you know of any, please let me know and I will contact them.
