Closed as of Sept. 10, 2011 (according to its web site), the Village Cafe and Sweet Shoppe will surely be missed! The WMBC had several book discussions there and the owners, Debbi and Stuart Katz, were always generous and kind, helpful and encourgaging.
It is a sad Aloha we say at the moment…but we all know them only too well and that they will surely be back with an endeavor just as equally exciting! Deb and Stu are two of the most vibrant members of our West Maui community and the WMBC is lucky to have Debbi as one of its members!
So it’s aloha for now but it’s really aloha nui loa!!
