Aloha — Wondering if Pat Conroy or any other authors represented by you and/or Random House are headed to Maui, Hawaii at any time?

Would love to know since members of the West Maui Book Club are looking for visiting authors…

For a list of all the books we’ve read since 2005 (including South of Broad) go to www.westmauibookclub.com

PS I just finished his FABULOUS “My Reading Life”. Well done!

Hi Elaine–

Thanks much for the kind email and I’m delighted you enjoyed MY READING LIFE.  We loved the book as well and Pat is a special author of ours.

Unfortunately we rarely tour authors to Maui but if that changes I will let you know.  It sounds like you are a group of avid readers!

All Best,
Todd

Mahalo for responding!  And if you ever find yourself on Maui, look us up and come visit!!  We are hungry for literary connections…way out here 5,000 miles from any land mass…. okay, while true I’ve pulled on your heartstrings a bit and, yes, the upside is that we live in paradise, but see what we’re forced to do?  Come up with ways to entertain ourselves….sort of like making our own pizza because there isn’t a single NY style to be found on the West Side!
Let us know when things change.

Take care and enjoy our web site… it just declared independence on July 4th to the world wide web.
